About

Kerri Reid, O.T.R./L. received her Bachelors of Science in psychology with a minor in physiology at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018. Continuing her education at Belmont University, she earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2021. During graduate school, Kerri embraced her passion for human anatomy and was the lead teaching assistant for the doctoral level anatomy and kinesiology courses, which fueled her interest in upper extremity rehabilitation. She completed a 3-month intensive clinical rotation in the hand therapy setting, with one-on-one training from a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

Upon graduation, she moved to Boston and immediately began pursuing a career in hand therapy, with the goal of becoming a CHT herself. Kerri has specialized training and experience in fabricating custom splints/orthotics for a wide variety of hand, wrist, and elbow injuries. She especially enjoys treating patients who have had joint replacements in the hand, animal bites, and complex fractures. Outside of occupational therapy, Kerri loves exploring the New England area through hiking, skiing, and trying new restaurants.
