Board-certified and fellowship-trained in pain medicine, Dr. Kaya Shah offers interventional pain management care for bone, joint, muscle and nerve pain. She specializes in the use of the most advanced interventional and nonsurgical treatments for orthopedic and neurological injuries and conditions. Her expertise includes:

Dr. Shah earned her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, where she also completed an internship in surgery and a residency in anesthesiology at Loyola University Medical Center. After her residency, Dr. Shah served as an anesthesiologist in Massachusetts for several years before completing an exclusive interventional pain management fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston. Through this year of intensive training, she learned the latest, proven methods in managing pain with medications and state-of-the-art interventional procedures, such as joint injections, neck and spine injections, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, trigger point injections and nerve electrical conduction procedures for pain.
