Dr. Abousayed is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical care of foot and ankle injuries and conditions. He treats all conditions of the foot and ankle including but not limited to ankle and foot arthritis, Achilles ruptures, tendonitis, fractures, bunions, hammertoe, ankle sprains, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flatfoot, Morton’s Neuroma, and other foot or toe deformities.   

Dr. Abousayed’s patient care philosophy is centered around getting to know his patients and involving them in their treatment plans to achieve better outcomes and enhance the patient experience. He offers patients a range of treatment options tailored to their foot conditions, including both non-surgical and surgical approaches. Non-surgical options include injections, medications, and physical therapy. In cases where surgical intervention is needed, Dr. Abousayed is experienced in a variety of procedures such as ankle replacements, Achilles tendon repairs, bunion surgeries, foot and ankle reconstructions, fusions, fracture fixation, and minimally invasive surgeries.

Dr. Abousayed is a graduate of Cairo University College of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt where he also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery. He went on to complete a second residency in orthopedic surgery at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. Dr. Abousayed also completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the esteemed MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

In his free time, Dr. Abousayed enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, and watching sports, especially tennis, soccer, and basketball. He grew up playing taekwondo and recently started playing pickleball.
