About

Dr. Adam E. Roy is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He focuses on both surgical and non-surgical treatments of hip and knee conditions and performs a wide range of procedures, including partial and total knee replacements, total hip replacement, primary and revision hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, robotic-assisted surgery, and patient-specific instrumentation.

Dr. Roy attended the College of the Holy Cross, where he was a four-year member of the varsity ice hockey team. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine on a full tuition merit-based scholarship.

He completed his orthopedic residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious training programs. Following residency, Dr. Roy completed the Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital, where he gained advanced expertise in joint replacement and complex reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Roy is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has authored and contributed to numerous works of orthopedic literature and remains actively engaged in advancing the field.
