To All of Our Past, Current, and Future Patients-
We hope all of you are staying safe today, and following the CDC and state recommendations regarding Covid-19 (coronavirus). I can’t stress enough the impact this will have on flattening the curve, and keeping yourself, your family, and the medical community at large safe during this crisis.
It goes without saying, we are facing unprecedented times. To that end, we have made some temporary changes to our practice that I want to make you all aware of.
First, it is important to note that as essential medical personnel, the physicians at Sports Medicine North will maintain office hours to treat our patients who are in need. It is our belief that we need to keep all of you out of the emergency rooms and hospitals where the truly sick need care.
However, over the next few weeks, we have been asked not to perform any elective surgeries, and to minimize the traffic in our office to only those that absolutely need our attention. To meet that aim, we will have telehealth consults available to patients who need to review their conditions but can’t or shouldn’t be coming to our office during this crisis. We also will be seeing an abbreviated number of patients in our office for conditions that can’t be treated remotely.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We all look forward to the day when America can resume business as usual.
COVID-19 Update: Here at Sports Medicine North, we are taking every precaution given the growing number of cases of Coronavirus. In accordance with the CDC recommendations, if you have traveled outside of the US, have been in contact with someone with Coronavirus, or you yourself are experiencing symptoms, please kindly reschedule your upcoming appointment or wear a mask to your visit. We also ask that you limit the number of individuals who you bring with you to your appointment to only those essential. Taking these precautions will help keep us all safe.x
